LNDN

5 August 2009

Hello Everybody,

Today I am going to write about my upcoming trip to Lndn. This of course is the correct transcription of what the Continentals think is the British English Received Pronounciation pronounciation of the word ‘London’. Well, what can I say… it is!

All right then, my upcoming trip is upcoming in December (at least it’s this year) and I am very much looking forward to it. In my imagination it’s a sort of summer kind of winter, meaning 23-24 degrees, not getting dark before 11 pm and other summer hot sexy sweaty feeling stuff involving loads of happy, good looking people but FOR GOD’S SAKE, how could you ever think about fucking winter right now!

Details: I am going to stay in East Lndn – awesome! My plan is to book a 1 GBP per night room in The Hoxton and have loads of Indian food all along the Brick Lane (which is a street, a book and a film, can you say that about yourself? Well, you probably can’t). And then, … (skipping the most enjoyable and profoundly capitalistic Oxford Street Buying Frenzy bit)… (The Tate Modern bit)… (The Five O’Clock Tea in the Ritz bit (I will shit my pants before going in, wish me luck!)) … And then, Saturday evening, I am going to see my devine, overwhelming and executive role model EDDIE IZZARD! Yeeeeeaaaahhhh!

I am going to sit in the Wembley Arena and cry because I will be so happy and because I will be molesting my neighbours going: ‘Sorry, I’m not vrom hier, what did he just say?’

Just kidding. It will be a night full of laughter and joyfulness!

On Sunday I will sleep in and then I will visit the small Bagle Shop I have visited last time already and then I will visit the Brick Lane market I have visited last time already – human beings certainly stick to what they know.

And if I can let myself drift a little bit (despite ze kold and ze rejn), maybe I will find some more fine places I will cörtainly tell ju about.

Good night, sleep tight, don’t let the bed bugs bite!
